Hotchkiss condenser

Please can anyone give a definate answer to the question.....which condenser should be fitted to Hotchkiss 24 volt?
Have read so many articles etc and some say any will do,no matter what the voltage is.
Can't get her running right so any help appreciated.

I do not have the manuals for the 24 volt Hotchkiss, I do know that the 6 Volt is made by Ducillier and 24Volt is made by Sev.
On the US Army Jeeps the IAD 4008 6 Volt Distributor uses the same Auto-Lite Part Number Condenser as does the AutoLite 24 Volt water proof Distributor.
Do you have the book M201, The Story of the Hotchkiss M-201 and the French Jeep by Pat Ware??
Page 84 of that book has a Table 14 Servicing and repair data. It indicates that the Condenser used in the 6 Volt and 24 Volt Hotchkis Jeeps do use a different Condenser for each voltage
They Are;
10 micro-farads for 6 Volt
0.18-0.26 Microfarads for 24 Volt
This is the best I can do for your Jeep.

You're welcome. Am skeptical of the 10 Microfarads though.
