Hi:
The tire pump mounting bracket of the bottom pan of my unidentified rear seat has a wood block in the center, shown below. This wood block likely helps keep the pump secure and prevents it from rattling loose. The WW II MB does not have this wood block nor the 4 holes for mounting one on its lower rear seat pan. Is this wood block, or the 4 holes to mount one, an indicator that my rear seat is from a Hotchkiss M201 jeep? Is the stick welding (as opposed to spot welding) of the tire pump foot bracket to the lower seat pan another indicator of a M201 rear seat? Thanks for any information.
Is this a M201 tire pump mount?

Doesn't look like the W.O.F. rear seat I have. There is no wood block. M-201 bottom pan will have "W.O.F." stamped in the center on the bottom side of the pan.
There were a lot of NOS W.O.F rear seats sold by SARAFANS and 4WD by Van back in the 70's 80's. They had stacks of them.
I will look later for the 4 holes.
My W.O.F. seat does have 4 holes at that location in an approx. 2" X 3" pattern.
I was hoping the Pat Ware M201 book would show the Tire Pump stowage set up.
Did you know that the French had their own similar version of the US Army GI Tire Pump for issue with the W.O.F. series of Jeeps?
