Hi,
Having removed the axle shaft drive flange (with the hub puller) to check the bearings on the front wheel, I now need to replace them. What is the best method to replace them? they won't just push or press back on. Should they be pulled on by tightening the studs? Or is there a tool needed as the studs aren't long enough. I have tried the search facility on here but couldn't find anything other than removing them. Any help would be appreciated.
Many thanks,
Chris.

Re: Replacing axle shaft drive flange.
Sounds like your outer shafts or drive flanges have burrs on the splines. They normally do not require much force.

Re: Replacing axle shaft drive flange.
Okay, thanks Ben.
I'll double check this weekend to see if there's a problem but I call myself to have checked for any distortion or burrs. I'll let you know how I get on.
Thanks,
Chris.
