Hi,
Searching around on the nett I found one Auto-Lite SPK 4001 speedometer with unusual bezel (http://www.vintagemilitarytrucks.com/19 ... arrier.htm) . Looks like it is original, but..... I need Your opinion.
Thanks

It looks like a Type I Autolite speedo (like the Type I in the early slat grill jeeps) but it does appear to have a later Motometer style bezel on it. Maybe it was repaired at some point in time?

Sean, I have a slat speedo that needs much TLC. The numbers are mostly missing from the wheels and the needle is broken off on both ends (the pointer may be inside the housing which I can't get off). The rear part is still in the housing. Are you still rebuilding these?

Hello,

In 2015 and before this sticky was impressive 'lots of pics" but now without pictures it is of no use.
Can somebody find back the pictures? If not why keep it a sticky?

Greetings

Hello,

A big sorry for my comment.
Apparently it is not because I do not see them that the pictures are not there.

On my MAC computer and using Google Chrome I do not see them. When I do a cut and past I have them so they are there!

When using Safari I do see them.
So all is OK.

Sorry for that.

Thank you for the info in this sticky! Is Sean still active?

Greetings
Hans
