Hi Chuck. In AL BRASS photo the ear clutch pedal appear totally in vertical position. In Ron FitzPatrick the same ear appear a few angle to the rear position.Today I disassembled the clutch pedal and first moved its ear to a vertical position and observed that woodruff key stayed in 11:00 o' clock position, almost 12:00 o' clock.Observed too that the correct position of the woodruff key is 10:00 o'clock position.Tomorrow my mechanic will be in my house to explain the problem. :D

I suspect that part “F” the woodruff key might be missing and that is what allowed for the AG tube flange to be in the wrong position.....assuming that AG has the flange welded in the correct orientation. Thanks.
The woodruff key was in its place, but in 11:00 o'clock, almost 12:00 o'clock.Good if was in 10:00 o'clock. We will correct it.Thanks.Regards.

If I am reading this correctly and it is just a flipped clutch arm then that is good news and an easy fix.

It is indeed rare to build an incorrect part to correct an incorrect install!

I am aware that repop "V" tubes were sold with the "ears" welded on at the wrong places.

Fabrizio...install the rod but leave out the cable for a moment...look at the photo and then your set up. Note the position of the ears on both tubes.
