MB/GPW seat cushions

Post by Ladislav » Fri Jan 19, 2018 6:35 am

How was the design of original springs style seat cusions? were the cushions botton open (springs visible), springs sitting directly on seat bottom metal sheet? Or the cushions were completely closed (also the bottom of cushion closed with canvas)?

Thanks, Lad.

They are open; the canvas does not cover the bottom. Look up some pictures, here on G503 and on the net; lots of them. Hog ringed to the spring side support rods.
