Fuel tank

Post by Barnii » Sun Dec 17, 2017 7:53 am

Hello,
Some time ago I came across a fuel tank for the Willys MB. The tank is in very good condition, has a large filling opening and around the perimeter of the groove. All fuel tanks that I have ever seen, were without this groove. Can you please help me with the identification of this tank? Is it a reproduction or an original. If original, what of time period?
Thank you for Your help

The guys are correct Barnii, Hotchkiss, they turn up regularly here in the U.K. due to there being quite a few of the M201s being over here.
