GPW Front bumper gusset change date?

I am looking for info about the change done to the upper front bumper gusset on the 45 GPW.
The fwd hole (used for the spring hanger when folded and used as the lower gusset) was remowed during the Production.
My Guess is that the change occured in April 1945 but have no proof. Can those of you that have a "late" GPW post what here what kind of upper gusset you have on Your jeep?

(I borrowed this Picture of the "std" type of upper gusset from another post here on the Gee).

270351, June 1st, has the forward holes as in the picture above.

If you have an original GPW chassis With the original gussets and rivets still in place your info would be highly appreciated

For info: GPW 266371 w/o the fwd hole.

GPW 68670.- HOLE


GPW 107098. HOLE

GPW 229573. HOLE- looks to have the hole, sorry about the angle!


Will confirm GPW 225290 and check a few more at a rally coming up.

I`ll check for what i have left of 11730's original gussets and see if it has the hole too.

#269325- May 28, 1945 has the hole in the gussets as your picture shows.
