Good morning guys, getting ready to paint the body and fenders and grill. How much paint do I need to give two coats? Thank you.

I think a gallon should do it but you may cut it a little close. It depends on how heavy you spray each coat, what type of paint you use, and how much you thin it.

Unfortunately I sprayed mine using cans. Though not ideal, it worked! I ended up using about 10 cans in total, if you must also go that route...

Buy two gallons of paint and one gallon of Xylene. Thin it 4 to one. Of course you need something to clean your gun with. Also buy 6 spray cans to touch up what you missed, later. You will see.
You will have some paint left over, but would you rather be 1/2 gallon short in the middle of it?
