...for an Aug. '42 MB #166807. Black or green Sheller?

Hi Craig,

I believe the correct color is off white !!!!

No really it would have had the solid green sheller.

:roll: ...even my son says gray! I beat you and Joe 'to the punch' before my 4 year old starts believing it's white...geesh....lol

So, my '42 came with a green Sheller...but thought it was replaced, so I put a black repro on instead. When did Willys start using the green Sheller?

Look at Jeep Draw as you have two green sheller wheels used. First green sheller was in March of 1942. The second type of Green sheller was in Aug of 1942 starting with #170307. Like I say look at jeep draw as there is lots more info on the wheels .
