43 gpw front grill

hi all . can anyone please tell me if there should be pads between grill and frame on my may 43 gpw as i do not have any and this was pointed out to me today? regards

No, but I always put some thin ones there anyway to keep them from squeaking. Originally, they didn't put any pads on it for grounding purposes, I suspect.
