Hello All,
I just purchased what I believe is a Ford GPW (was advertised as an MB) that has an engine mounted air compressor on it. After limited research, I'm certain it isn't one of the Westinghouse T-1's. But the mounting bracket and system look very professional and I think it might have been some type of aftermarket item for either WW2 jeeps or maybe CJ2A's? It runs off the inside narrow part of a double crank pulley, and is mounted on the passenger side of the engine where the oil filter would normally be. Has a large finned head but is quite small overall. I'll try to post pictures, but have attempted to do so in the past with no success. Does anyone have any idea what this might be?
Thanks in advance for your help!
Dennis
