Rotary headlight switch
On the 1945 GPW with a rotary headlight switch; is it proper operation for the switch to light the headlights on all switch positions except one? Essentially this prevents the operator from driving with only blackout lights. The switch was tested with wires removed from the switch. Thanks, MaxF

Re: Rotary headlight switch
That's right.
The prior owner my MB had it rigged so that ALL of the lights came on with the switch in the HD LTS position, "for judging". This was a PIA to rectify, and involved going to the TM for the diagrams there. I had to track every lighting wire on the jeep from the associated lights all the way back to the switch, rerouting and reconnecting as necessary.
