Oversize water pump bearing?

Hi folks...

Has anyone heard of oversize bearings for water pumps with machined bores. I have a nice water pump with a bore machined to around 34 mm (original is around 30 mm). I removed an old bearing from it, but at that time didn't notice the difference....

Water pump bearings come in many sizes.
Check with your local bearing supplier & see if they have a cutoff water pump bearing your diameter.
The shaft is longer than needed maybe even both ends & they are cut off to suit what you require.
If you are doing this it is best to replace the old type seal with a new ceramic style for a lifetime of trouble free service.

I would sleeve it as OEM Bearings are plentiful and there is no question about pulley or impeller fit.
