There's two schools of thought, it may also allow the wheel to be drawn on too far. A light smear of chassis may suffice.

how would chassis grease prevent the wheel from NOT being drawn on further as you surmise would happen with anti seize?
I will be using anti seize all over my restoration

Bought my puller NOS from Saturn Surplus a few years ago.
Item number 6200020.
It was about $75 plus shipping.
Not sure if they still have any.
Might need to give em a call.

I had checked with Saturn and they hadn't had them for awhile.

A guy on ebay has a couple of dozen,,147.00 each plus shipping,,
I talked him down a little,,but he's the type of guy who will die with them, rather than sell one for 100.00

Anti seize is super slippery, I ran bolt comparison torque tests using new bolts lubricated with Oil and with Anti Seize, using a constant torque and comparing the bolt tension on calibrated laboratory equipment. The results were interesting.
