T84 issue
Hello, my fellow gee members. This topic has probably been covered but I can't seem to find it. My t84 shift normally no popping or slipping. I just notice that my t84 is stiff to shift. Not that is can't find a gear it always shifts into place. I recently drove my friends 43 mb and shifting his t84 is effortless, smooth as silk. Barely need any force to shift. I measured all of my gears going from neutral to 1st then repeat the process all over again for the other gears. All the gears topped out requiring 14 pounds to shift into gear. Usually when I drive my jeep going from 1st to 2nd isn't quite pleasant. When I shift into second sometimes I don't hear a grind but a click as if grinded faster than you can blink your eye.

Re: T84 issue
Pull off the shift tower and inspect the pivot pin in the shift cane, the notches that it rides in and the gate riveted to the underside and see if excessive wear is part of the problem here...photos will help!
