Ebrake

I also have an internal style Ebrake and need a photo or diagram to reassemble it. I did buy new linings & springs.

Make sure the backing plate is not grooved where the linings sit otherwise the brake will not adjust properly. If it is these wear slots can be filled with bronze then cleaned off level.

The backing plate has no wear patterns at all.

I actually did that photo serie disassembling the ebrake. So the brake components have not been cleaned yet... 
the left side spring should be replaced...

The wear patterns I was talking of are clearly shown in the last post's first picture & they need repair if apparent....or the backing plate needs replacement.

Thanks for the great photos - that really helped.
I checked the backing plate and it's been repaired by brazing already. All the wear was filled in and ground flush.
