Re: Glove box lock problem
This thread has been a great help, thanks guys.
I would guess the middle bar would work for a Jeep..... If you're gonna make them count me in for a couple!

I will try to get you an answer this weekend. I'm pretty sure it's the middle striker but I will have to confirm.

Re: Glove box lock problem
The one on my jeep is off a 1936 Chevy truck and works just fine. I'll have to take a look at it and see how my bar compares tot he ones in the photo.

Re: Glove box lock problem
The dimensions vary from part to part on like pieces. This should be close enough for identification purposes.
Strikers 1 and 2 both work fine in my door. Striker 3 is too short to latch. Striker 1 is the original one for the G503.
If someone wants to try to make a mold to make some reproductions, I will LOAN them an original one to use. Cost would be to make me a few.

Thanks Jon.
On the Parts Colours Page, the bottom picture of the striker that looks gold is actually one that I made out of brass. Here are a couple of side shots.

There are three different lock bolts the two longer ones will work the shorter one will not fit.
