The NAPA Auto Parts stores sell that 90 WT Mineral Oil and it is GL-1. I know that's no help for the overseas guys, but if you have a NAPA store nearby, they can order it for you if they don't happen to have any in stock.

Howdy,
Ben is correct about the Exxon GL-5 . GL-5 is NOT recommended for brass service .

Tractor Supply carries this, which appears to be SAE-90 GL-1

NAPA does carry that 90 WT in GL-1 which is reccomended for use with brass components....If your parts shops in Austria supply the Old Car Guys I think they might have a 90 WT GL-1 gear oil....talk to any of the guys at antique car clubs or shows and see if they know where you can find it...

Perhaps an old-school parts shop will actually know the difference and have what you want or be able to order it.

Why accept substitutions, go with a GL-1 rated gear oil....they make the different types for SOME reason, right?
