Jack's stickers are very special, and copied from an original issued for use in the preparation of vehicles for the invasion.

As he does tend to point out to those who are interested. They are double sided, sequentially numbered and red & blue as well.

Beautiful photo, and it is exactly what Jack is offering, he usually encloses a story of how he acquired the sticker .

LC66....so was the fording sticker applied to the passenger side and the plastic film put on over that or was it put on the OUTSIDE surface of the glass and the plastic put on over it there?

Chuck , A new plastic film was applied 20 years ago for protecting the flag but there are still remnants of the original plastic film .
The fording sticker was applied to the driver side on the inside surface of the glass and the original plastic film put on that

Not necessary, but the actual WWII connection to his stickers is unique, don't you think?

Jack's Fording Stickers will look even better if they accompany an original fording kit. I have a crated set of fording equipment sufficient to prepare five vehicles between 1/4 ton to 2&1/2 ton (Jeep to Jimmy) that I want to sell if anyone is interested. It is located in southern England, is around 40" x 40" x 12" and needs four guys to lift it just in case anyone thinks it can be posted through a regular mail service. The only other items like this to hit the market were sold by a well known dealer in Holland. PM if interested.

Here are two pictures that I picked up a number of years ago, I cannot remember who posted them. I've added an extract from the very famous color picture of an MP standing up in his Jeep. One can tell that the glue used smeared around the sticker:

These were not gummed and were attached with shellac.
