A very wet Sunday with much standing water, however with some sunshine and a warm breeze the site has dried out appreciably.

A few bargains bought and beers consumed. Much talk of absent frurnds, looking forward to some more mud wrestlers tomorrow. Regards from Felix, han, hobo, chris, Lloyd reg et al.

I'm on the road in about ten minutes REG. I'll check the G503 camp to see who's present.

Myself and John Young called in on the G503 camp as we trudged around Beltring in the mud we should
have taken of the cup of tea up because by the time we had reached the top of the display area we were
cream crackered and it had started to rain again Oh well we were enjoying ourselves I think or was I just
kidding myself I was having a good time lol

Guys

A tremendous huge "Thank You" to Chris for setting up camp (again).
He was, as ever, a trendous host and a fantastic chick detector/magnet.

A big thanks also to Robin for providing the facilities and congratulations to him for winning the "Best Jeep in show" - an excellent achievement considering there were 555 Jeeps booked in (although we don't know how many turned up).

It was great to see young Andrew (and his mum and grandad, Reg!!) turn up at the show again. At 12 he is the youngest Jeep 'owner' at our camp and his granddad one of the oldest.

Felix and Han - well done for such a long drive - and Lars too! Great to see Lloyd

The following is a link to my surfacezero album but I have added a few extra photos here.
I have also scanned a total listing of all vehicles. If you have never been to Beltring then this should ersuade you to come, regardless of the weather.

http://www.surfacezero.com/g503/showgallery.php?cat=3289

Some statistics from the listings:
Amphibious: 32
Ambulances: 69
Bicycles: 112
Motorcycles: 344
Jeeps: 555
Light vehicles: 796
Medium vehicles: 300
Heavy vehicles: 373
Artillery: 27
Wheeled armour: 124
Tracked armour: 80
Misc tracked: 41
Misc: 165
Living History displays: 143

Surface zero is having some problem - will send more links tomorrow

Terrific photos Reg. I didn't need to go after all!

What is the story behind that extraordinary unrestored Kettentrad?
