I have a SCR-610 and I looking to buy the antenna tie down kit or the kit components.
The is the rope system used to pull down and secure the antenna to the front of the vehicle. I do not really need the rope as I believe it was just white cotton and I can find that locally. However, I would buy a complete kit with the rope if its available at a reasonable cost.
I am located in the USA (Ca.)
Thanks
Brett

Re: WTB Antenna tiedown
There was no tie down kit in WWII.Antenna guy ropes were used usually with an insulator installed.

Re: WTB Antenna tiedown
The standard "kit" which as Dallas said was not packaged as a kit during or after WW-II, consisted of 20' of RP-5, one Insulator IN-86 or IN-86-A and one Fitting (AKA Clamp AKA P-Clip AKA SC-B-19491) Stock Number 2A2352/1. All of which was requisitioned individually. The RP-5 is still available in bulk but only in white. Price for the three items is $32.50 plus shipping. The Fitting goes on the MS-52 and will not work on an MS-117-A.
