This is a correct value for that excellent equipment.
Of course modern digital frequency meters have totally phased out that equipment designed 70+ years ago.
However, for fans of the "zero-beat", that's a must have!

Maybe in Europe but here in the US they sell for $35-$60 as there is no collectors value except for the early 1936-38 units.

I concur on the typical going price. And if modified, the range could be less. But it depends on what a buyer wants if for, what was modified, and the apparent quality of the mod. The one listed below is modified. The modification is useful to someone who wants to use rather than display the unit. And although the rear view photo showing the supply is missing, what is visible appears well done. And should prevent the tell-tale signature of most BC-221's with an AC supply inside (the strong smell of burnt transformer insulation).
