FM 43 mounting specs/measurements

Post by Bdog » Tue May 09, 2017 5:51 pm

Getting ready to install floors in my WC53 and wondering if anyone out there could provide the hole spacing from the FM43 Radio Table as well as a fairly accurate location within the truck. I have the hardware but floors were too far gone for measurements

Thanks

Bdog:

Here you go, from page 35 in TM11-2710 dated 23 July 1944. The dimensions you want are a shown by the number "1" within the small circle at top.

You have the hardware, which is 10 qty. 5/16" - 24 clinch nuts, ten 5/16"-24 x 1-1/2" hex head bolts, ten 5/16" lockwashers and ten 5/16" standard washers. Drill, baby, drill! If you are ever going to install a radio set in your Carryall, I highly recommend you get a copy of TM 11-2710 because it contains lists of all the parts you will need to installed the radio sets authorized for the Carryall.

Just out of curiosity, what are the holes delineated by the circled 3 intended for? Will definitely try to scrounge me up a copy of 11-2710.
