Thanks Robert

I doubt I'd ever get around to it - not my core subject as they say, but thanks for the info. I'm just watching for one to complete the unit. I've only ever seen pictures of a BC-309 Control Box too.

Morning all, I'm ( still ) putting together an SCR-187 set for my T-36 Snow Tractor. I've got most of it but parts missing as always.

So, parts I'm still looking for;

BC-309 Control Box
DM-24 Dynamotor

Bumped politely, still looking for these two items

Gordon,

I don't have any suggestions on the BC-309 but you can make a working substitute for the DM-24. You need a DM-28. Or better, just the ungutted base from a DM-28. In place of the 28 VDC dynamotor proper, install the dynamotor proper from say a DM-34 or a TCS receiver dynamotor from a 21881, 21770 or a 211035. The TCS unit is a better cosmetic match as it is slightly larger in diameter than the one from the DM-34. Do not try to use one from a DM-32 or equivalent as the LV negative brush holder is grounded and you will burn up the audio output tube in the BC-224.

Thanks Gunner

I saw one original DM-24 on that auction site last month, but I was particularly poor when that auction was on. I'll just keep an eye open till one turns up I think

Never seen a BC-309 Control Box though, just one very poor image

thanks again

Gordon,
I just got a large cache of mostly WWII aircraft radio items. I think I saw a DM-24 in the pile but it is over 5000# of stuff to sort through and I am on my own doing it. I have only preliminary scanned and won't have it ready for market until late June. I'll let you know if it or a BC-309 show up.

Afternoon John. If there is a DM-24 there just put my name on it please.

The BC-309 is just a small box with a switch, a light, and I think a socket for a PL-24 plug - I have an image somewhere. I'd have one of those if you found one too.
