what are the difference to mp48A and mp48?

The MP48 has a very large Amphenol connector on the bottom and binding post mounted next to where the mast sections screw in.The MP48A just has a cable through the center and a compression plug on the bottom.

on m24 chaffee or other tank the us army used mp48 or mp48A?

Maybe the MP48A or,because they were new production in 1944 they may have been issued the AB15 mast bases.
