WWII Volt ohm Meter

Postby cewardjets » Thu Jun 28, 2012 3:56 pm

I just picked up a I-166-A votl Ohm meter. i am wonder what would be a good replacement for the BA-31. 3 D batteries wont fit. Would 3 AA batteries be ok. Only need it to work the ohms scale. does nayone know what the lead wires would of been made out of? Would thay have been rubber or cloth wire? Mine is missing the black and red leads and aligator clips.

Also any one have a manual for TM 11-2613 for the meter?

Use 3ea. AA batteries in series.Radio Shack used to sell single AA battery holders so you could put 3 in series for the 4.5v BA-31 battery.
