Original WWII type USGI maintenance tent FS. (Huge)

Post by tranham » Sun Jul 23, 2017 9:30 am

This is a USGI post WWII dated maintenance tent in very good shape. A few small repairs. I had a new frame made for it out of aluminum. 3 people can put it up. I do know someone who has an original frame for sale as well. The post war ones didn't have a roof that opened. Comes with canvas floor usgi as well. Huge, you can easily drive a Stuart in. Deuce and 1/2 almost fits in, just a bit too tall. Sides roll up and both ends open as well. Hook ups for heat and air. This is canvas, not vinyl. It has the cork screw rope tensioners. I have quite a bit in the new frame build. Located in Tennessee. Email tranham@hotmail.com for pics. $1800

TENT, FIRE-RESISTANT, MAINTENANCE SHELTER, Stock No. 24-T-319-15

Email sent. Wife might kill me. But a maintenance shelter would be perfect for my "Iffy-Lube" motorpool setup we do with my USAAF group.

I'm about to buy an M151 from a friend and just located a G506 series truck I need to find the owner of to see if he'll sell. And of course this tent... that estate sale might be by spring.
