WTK : ammo box value

Post by HALFWITT » Sat Sep 09, 2017 3:42 pm

I have two WW II 50 cal wood ammo boxes with clear markings for carton pack M-1 incendiary. The boxes are in good shape with proper lids. Any idea what these are worth?
Thanks

If you have pics it would help with valuation. Are the correct lids there. Are all the correct fasteners there and correct. I have been buying those online for between $40-$80 depending on condition and completeness

Thanks Bentwood. They have the original tops and pressed steel wing nuts. I don't know if the nuts are proper or not.

I have original wingnut examples to compare them to if you can email me pics. I am working on reproduction boxes and just had 5000 copies of the wingnuts and L bolts made.

Thanks for the offer but I am taking them to a show this week along with a bunch of other crates and web gear.
