(What is this) Mystery-Solved! Aluminum Drop Cannister?
Measures 8" x 8" x 26" (long), welded aluminum construction. Four cam latches to secure the cap. Note the aviation/airborne "A" Rings and carrying handles (on both sides). Nothing inside left. No markings (stamped or painted) that I can see so far. White finish is a repaint. Sure has that ordnance look. Can't rule out foreign (German) at this point. Anyone seen this before?
*** Per Robin, it's as A-13 Aerial Delivery Container. Original orange paint is visible under the white repaint. THANKS ROBIN!

Re: What is this Mystery Aluminum Drop Cannister?
I'd have to look, similar to my Pak 38 gun cans. They are steel though.
