Good point. I wouldn't bet a penny on this being a re-enactment photo in the US, but some of those Brit/EU events often get to this level of authenticity...

It's an original, Signal Corps photograph. The POM marking on the crate (bottom left) is for the V Corps Artillery, Headquarters & Headquarters Battery.
