WARNING: these bags are HIGHLY addictive. It could be worse: you could be providing him with custom materials to build a third bag. Yep, that would really be sick.

Rob was easy to spot at the Pomona show. I just looked for the guy towering over a pile of (cool) web gear detritus. His stand of sample bags was front and foremost and yes, they are remarkable. I would buy them while you can. I heard rumors that the L.A. garment district competition is planning on fire-bombing his sweatshop... once they figure out the airfare to "Monrovia".

Rob,

First time I am seeing this thread. Wow. These are THEE COOLEST things I have seen in this hobby in a loooong, long time. You have really tapped into something unique. It's like the crazy love child of a Re-Purpose movement hippie chick and an Army Surplus Store manager!

I will definitely be in touch about a laptop bag and a wallet - I don't care how long the backlog is.

If I send you some raw material, would you incorporate it?

Glad you think I'm onto something here.

I like your analogy. Its like when peanut butter met milk chocolate for the first time.

I think the hipsters have a new name for the 'hippie chick re-purpose movement' - 'up-cycling'. Although, I remember referring to this homemade gear made from other stuff as 'field expedient'.

I'm happy to work with whatever you wanna send. I've got a few custom bags in the lineup right now - some cool ideas from clever collectors out there.

PM me and we can work out details.

Thanks again for the kind words.

Thanks. I've already started gathering some stuff. And I have some ideas. The theme is "Signal Corps/ASA". :D

Cool.

Whats ASA? As in army security agency?

Anyway, I look forward to your notions.
