WANTED: BUtt Stock holder - mounts on floor of vehicle
This is the small cup that holds the butt stock of the M1 Carbine in the M8 armored car....the two carbines that stand vertically behind the gunner and loader seats in the turret. Searches on the web and ePay show nothing....what is it called? Anyone have pictures? - I might be able to make one if I knew what it looked like with dimensions......

Does it look like this? Two of these are mounted on the front floorboard of my GPW and no one has been able to identify them.

I got a PM with an oval one larger at one end than the other that looks decidedly like the butt of an M1 Carbine.....sure that is the right one....
Never seen on like the GPW you sent photo of. Thanks for the photo though!
