Early Y shape Patton Muzzle Brake

Post by pavedragon » Sat Apr 22, 2017 9:07 am

Anyone have information on how many M48 Patton Tanks were made with the original Y shaped Muzzle Brake.

The numbers on mine are...

WA (part of original casting)
143 (part of original casting casting)
724C (hand stamped)
F-7309103 (part of original casting)

The following is hand stamped as well but almost impossible to read...
E0?PA58

I don't know what 724C indicates or what the last numbers may be.

Anyone have any idea??

Mike
