Postby chris » Thu May 24, 2012 7:15 pm

A friend gave me a new catolog selling all different knives and such in there. There is ad for a new non firing MP44,,Made of metal and wood contruction..You can pull back the bolt but ofcourse will not chamber any rounds.
Has anyone seen or bought this new nonfire model gun before ?

I don't know anything about this replica, but some folks on the WWII Reenactor Forum might.

i own one of these - also the MP40 model from the same company

for my they come pretty near to the original - having the more "economic" price in mind than you have to pay for a original one

all metal with wooden stock - pretty heavy - not as detailed as for ex the japanes "SHOEI" repops but for me still nice

i'm pretty satisfied with it and recommend

Rick,

the manufacturer is DENIX in spain

they don't look that bad

Image

they also produce a couple of other modelguns - all in real metal with wood

some smaller shortcomings here and there but overall pretty nice

i also own a 1928 Thompson from them, the MP40 / STGW 44 / COLT 1911

the thompson was outfitted with real woodwork - the spanish copy of the grips is too lousy for my taste

anyway - way cheaper than originals and - off course - legal

once more; for a realistic look you need some patience but the final result is the reward
