60mm Mortar Sight Case Strap

Hey Fella's, I've got a leather box for the sight for my 60mm mortar that I'm restoring, but the case does not have a strap. I'm looking for information on this leather strap; length, width, and buckle/clip details. Does anyone out there have one they could measure and take some photos for me?

Here are images and dimensions from an NOS WW2 M-14 Case Strap. Leather width is 5/8", thickness ~ 1/8". Russett leather with edge embossing.



* Short Strap section measures ~ 11-7/8" finished, overall (add ~ 1-1/2" to each end for the folded tips). Stitch boxes for the snap hook and buckle are 1-1/4" long.

* Long Strap section measures 47-1/4" long, finished (add 1-1/2" for the folded snap hook end). There are ten (10) holes beginning 3" from the slightly tapered tip end and spaced 1-1/2" apart. Stitch box for the Snap Hook is 1-1/4" long.



* Buckle is the cast bronze type with roller. It measures 1-3/16" long.



* Snap Hooks are the cast bronze type and measure 1-3/4" long.

Looks like same cast buckle as the later Firestone M1C Liner A-Frames
