Re: Converto Dump Handles
For information, these are the tailgate release handles, correct? Are they "early" or "late"?

I am asking for informational purposes, so I hope that doesn't bother you.chasendeer wrote:These are late model ones.lt.luke wrote:For information, these are the tailgate release handles, correct? Are they "early" or "late"?
Can these be modified to accommodate an "early" trailer, or are the handles completely different?

Re: Converto Dump Handles
The question was asked if these can be used on an early converto trailer but has not been answered. I would like to reserve one. Can anybody confirm it will fit.
Thanks

Re: Converto Dump Handles
Yes they will fit but not the same as the earlier and simpler handles. These are cast and the others were just plain steel. The question was asked if these can be used on an early converto trailer but has not been answered. I would like to reserve one. Can anybody confirm it will fit.

Re: Converto Dump Handles
PM sent to reserve a handle.
Mine is an early trailer but seems to have the same handle you are making.
Can somebody post a good picture of an early handle for reference. I only found one picture and couldn't see any details.
Thanks
