Primer Problems 37mm Gun, Antitank, M3 US
Punched out some primers on 37mm Brass Cases. These primers were M23A1 and M23A2 type. The type I had brought online where M28B2 type. As instructed I bought some 1/2 CPVC to make flash tubes. But the CPVC(for hot and cold) inside diameter is too small for the M23 type primer. 1/2 PVC(for cold only) is too big and the only thing I found that might work are the grey PVC nipples but even those were loose. I will use the Steel flash tubes on the M28B2 type primer but I will have to cut them down to maybe 3 or 4 inches because they a about 10 inches long now. Please advise if you have any experience with what works. See pic. Thanks. Buck

Found this thread from a previous post with video. Shows the M23 primer filled with powder and taped off, I guess I will go with that.

I've taken apart a hundred or so original m16 shells. I have yet to see one with a flash tube.
