Anyone know what gun this came from? The only markings on it are "110" but it is not from a M110 howitzer and it is a 155mm muzzle brake.
Thanks I advance,
Mike

Re: Howitzer Muzzle Brake
Found it!!
It is from a 152mm Houfnice vz 18/47. Czechoslovakian towed artillery piece. The soviets modified it post war (1966ish) with a short barrel and added this muzzle brake. According to records, anywhere from a few thousand to just over 5000 were produced with an unknown amount modified by the soviets to the 18/47.

Re: Howitzer Muzzle Brake
Update.....the 47 at the end of the nomenclature indicates the year of the modification by the soviets. So it was made in 1947 and only about 200 were captured and then made into the Houfnice.
