Need rotating band put back on WWII 75mm projectile
Are there any artillery guys out there that put the rotating band (obdurating or driving band) back on projectiles? I have a WWII U.S. 75mm M61 HE/APC-T that does not have the copper band. It was either removed from the projectile, or never finished at the factory. It does not look fired. These are getting scarce enough that it warrants restoration to put in a casing. If you know of anyone, let me know. Thanks!
Thanks,

Modern artillery bands are flame sprayed on and then machined. Or you can make one from a copper band, and braze the ends together once it is wrapped around the groove. Then trued up in the lathe. Originals were swaged on bands.
