That looks like a 25pdr block, not a 6 pdr.

Yes, the block and firing mechanism is available. It is a 6 pounder, similar in size but mechanically different from 57mm. Call if interested. Bill 412 337-9733

I had a look at both the 25 pdr and the 6 pdr parts manuals, and neither one matched to what few part numbers could be seen in the photos. Mind you, there were variations between British and Canadian part numbers, and there were often different marks of firing locks.

Any chance you can list some of the part numbers (usually prefixed with FL) found on your block assembly?

Best way to confirm is to measure the width of the block across the rear face.

I think I resolved the controversy. Stampings on the brass plate, (somewhat hidden) are 00F 25PDR CMK111,FL_2415 3-45. The width on the firing pin face is 4", the width where the firing assembly attaches(rear) is 4 9/16". A 25 Pounder?

No controversy to me! :D I was 99% sure it was 25 pr. Thanks for checking further.
