Re: WW2 Russian
While I was standing at a Militaria show in Malvern (U.K.) a guy came up to our stall and said do you want to buy a couple of sights
for your Mortars you have on display for sale these were
a WW2 British 2 inch mortar
a WW2 60mm Canadian mortar
a WW2 U.S. 60mm mortar
a post war 60mm Portugese Airborne mortar
a WW2 British 3 inch Airborne mortar
Apparently he saw the mortars and thought here is a likely candidate to sell my stuff to but when he took them out to show me
one was a Russian mortar and the other was a WW2 dated original sight for the 76mm howitzer
which I have been trying to locate since last year needless to say it made my day and to top it all I got them both for 80 dollars
