Found this recently, not sure what it is but thought it MIGHT be a pump used for filling nitrogen in an artillery piece. So, I figured to post it here first to see if any arty guys might know. Unfortunately, there are no markings, stamps or anything but green paint.
Anyone?

Could be a "Morale Pump", AKA "Sunshine Pump"!

Re: What Is This?
Well since the nitrogen needs to be in the 1500 to 2000 psi range and that pump might produce 50 psi or so at best... Doesn't mean it might not be for artillery, cuz it kind of looks like it would produce a small air blast for cleaning and the like. Which would be nice in many applications in the field. FWIW.

Re: What Is This?
Nitrogen would flow in at it's own pressure. No pump needed.

Might be a version of a mineral recoil oil pump ??
