New 81mm fibertubes available m56

Post by tranham » Wed Jun 11, 2014 1:32 pm

I picked up a m4a1 mortar halftrack in January and have been working non stop to get it exactly how I want it. One of the many small projects has been making the fiber tube containers for the m56 and m57 mortar rounds. Thanks to desertrick I was able to have enough original end caps to make the tubes needed for my track. I also made 50 more to help pay for the project. I wanted to offer these extras to someone who needs them before the Mvpa show. They are quite expensive to ship in quantity so I can bring them to the show for free.

Here are some pictures

I have no plans to mame more. Each tube is clear coated to protect from water damage . They are $21 each. I require a 10% deposit and I'll be at the Mvpa show on Thursday or Friday. Also i am planning on getting the m57 stamps for wp smoke rounds as well with grey tape. So you can get either style as I have not taped/stamped them all yet.
I can ship as well.
Robert

Very good work on the tape and rubber stamped markings.

I'm working the same "original end caps/new tubes" process on 75HOW tubes now that the end-cap motherlode has been unearthed.

Frank

The 57mm ap rounds are basically the same size tubes as these. Desertrick didn't find any 57mm tubes out there. Too bad. I'm going to leave making anymore new tubes up to Rob L and others. Neat project but I've got my track to finish.

Robert: I'll happily trade a garage full of tubes for a garage full of 'track
