You very really get to see photos of these, so I felt like sharing again. This round is in the TM for the 37mm M3 gun, but not the M63 He round which is far more common to find. I have been lucky enough to find three - one with a an M38 practice fuse. It has been 20 years since I found these. One is a practice round with original blue paint and some markings still showing. I repainted the other two in ordnance yellow. There are two manufacturers - one marked them on the driving band, the other on the base. I have provided an M63 round and its M58 fuse for comparison. It is interesting to note that the guts of the M38 fuse are the same as the later M58 fuse.

Stumbled into one of these that had been made into a lamp (which I carefully "re-milled"). Took me a while to ID it -- as you said, not easy to find.
