81MM Mortar

Post by dwing » Fri Sep 20, 2013 2:10 pm

This is an M29 81MM mortar that is registered as a destructive device with ATF . I thought that people may find it interesting. Here is a picture of the mortar and a picture of one of the rounds that landed. Link to video below the pictures. Its a great deal of fun to shoot.

If your gun doesn't leak oil, it's time for a bigger gun.

No increments. We didn't have the range where we were shooting. I made the blanks. they were going about 350 yards without increments

Beltfed:
What types of rounds are your firing. Looks like a fair number of bushes where you shoot. Do you have any difficulty finding the rounds? Is 120MM live?
