Cleaning rods for??

Saw these on evil-bay. I contacted the seller hoping they were similar in size to the 105, but alas, they are a fair bit smaller. The 105 is 1-1/2 inches in diameter. The seller let me know that these are 1" in diameter and the brass ends are 4" on the female end and 4-1/2 on the male ends. The attachment is about 10" long.

If they are 75mm or 57mm, I am sure someone here can use them. They are on a buy it now of $100, which isn't bad as the brass stock would just about run you that much before you even start turning them.

They do not fit the 75mm (howitzer) or the US 37mm, nor did they fit my 57mm (at that time) they are (were) $5.00 apiece from Gun Parts Corp about 10 years back, the bolt section held a brush that could be placed on it. (they still sell some Israeli brushes) I am not sure if they fit the 105mm How. The 155mm used steel or larger diameter wood I think, as it required a heavier duty piece.
The ends cannot be cut off and re-fitted to a 75mm How, as it shows a taper head leading the screw which these do not have.

Not trying to shoot anyone about the post, just tried doing an exchange with a freind on several of these the other day for his 75mm How, and tried it against my 37mm as well. The clamps will go around the wood or the brass areas where they are indented, but they are not the correct pieces to my knowledge.

May have been to the 106mm recoiless gun as there are so many of them out there, it would be good to know the original purpose.

105 howitzer ends are 1-1/2 diameter. so these are out for that purpose.

As far as I know, the 106 recoiless threads were the same as the 105 howitzer. Most of the rammer attachments I have seen used on the 105s are actually marked as applicable for the 106.

I have no connection with the seller...just thought someone here might be able to use them.
