Was wondering if anyone can help me with this telescopic scope that I just found in some old stuff of my grandfather who served during WWII. I was told it was a 37mm anti-tank scope. It is marked m7 on it with a serial number. Any help would be great. Maybe somebody knows if it is rare and what kind of value it might have or if anybody is looking for one, they can make me a reasonable offer. I have some more pictures but cannot seem to up load them. It does have serial #23133, 7671693 under it. telescope , m7 stock #7690125 and b137233 on it. Any questions or comments would be appreciated

No, not for the M3 37mm. Very similar but missing the mounting hardware for the scope mount. On the good side the leather scope caps will work on the correct scope, the m6. I'm sure someone knows what the m7 fits here?

Thinking the 37mm AA gun as found on the M15 halftrack...my guess.

Its been awhile since I posted on this thread. I thought I would post an updated picture of the project. The gun is done. I shot about two dozen rounds through it at the OFAST shoot in June. Likely take it to the Big Sandy in the fall. its sort of dirty given I have been shooting it. If anyone has the holders and clips for the cleaning staffs reproduction or original, please let me know. Mine have been removed. I assume someone was tired of getting their shins scraped.

If your gun doesn't leak oil, it's time for a bigger gun.

Back to the old question on the M7 Telescope... It's part of the AA Computing Sight M7A1 (I think I sold the tube + crosshairs that mounts over this earlier this year?). Looks like 40MM material from what I can tell.

Nice, it turned out well. I see a howitzer shell in the background? Do you have any for sale. I am looking for 4 1/2 inch size.

The projo in the back ground goes to the 105MM. Sorry Buck.

Like you, I am always looking for 76MM 75MM or 105MM projos.

Dustin,
Try a company called Mcmaster-Carr.
They are on the web and have a huge selection of miscellaneous rivets and bolts that may fit your needs.
Good looking project, thanks for sharing.
