Hello,

Does anyone knows who sells theme canvas covers for the gun? Or if someone has a layout plan so I can make one myself.

THX,

Joachim

Brian,

Nice find! This is one of the best pics of the 37s with the covers on.

cover

Post by jonsm114 » Sat Dec 20, 2008 7:02 pm

I have never actually seen a cover like this. It is not pictured in my manuals. Would like to know if anyone has a frontal picture to detail attachment.

I would think it straps to the metal rail on the front of the sheild?

Without a pic it will be difficult but I think my local canvas guy can do one off the pic that we have here. I need to get the gun over to him and leave it for a while.

I will contact him next week to see if he would like a winter project.

Web straps I would think over the front of the sheild. It tows in that other direction so the breech end is key.

Thats it.....exactly what I needed....what a great picture......where was it taken?

Love the bias and NDT tires. Quite a contrast.

Thanks so much.

We had tube lights for our M198 howitzers. They clamped onto the barrel and had a wire running back to the trailer connection on the truck. Instead of one light we had one of the standard composite lights on each side. We never used them. We just put chemlights on the tube.
