On Portland, Or CRAIG'S list '45 CCKW Fire truck open cab style, complete.. goood parts or restore. ONLY $1500 or ??? Located in Winlock, Or It has a front pump so the trans and transfer case were not used to power the pump. These trucks usually have very low vehicle mileage/use. I've seen it, but was distracted by the '42 Chev military limosine for sale there also. If I could, I'd include the Craigs link, but you can find it easily. NEW PRICE!!! Newc

Wow !!!
That is a great deal !!!
It is a steal !!

$1,000 .....with a title !

For a truck that likely would run,
and likely kept inside for 40 to 50 years before ending up outside where the floor started to rust.

If that was in Florida, I would be all over it !!!

Plus it could be used to rebuild a CCKW if you didn't want it as a fire truck.

It would be a great for West Coast G Members to restore it as a Fire truck to protect their property and homes and vehicle garages from
the ever present threat of brush fires, and such !!

You could have your own fire department on your ranch :D :D :D
There is tremendous value there.

I hope someone can save this beautiful truck, asap !!

Good Luck,

Ray

I've been calling the guy 2 times a week for over a month now to try and purchase this vehicle to restore and put in Freedom Vehicles Associations Museum and displays here in Utah. He has never answered his phone for me.

Hello Wade,

Keep at it, try emailing if you haven't already.

Try contacting the earlier poster, newc, as he said he was at the location, maybe he has a better contact number ?

That would be great if you could rescue it, and restore it !
This truck is worthy of saving and restoring, I hope you can get it !!!
